Emerald Coast market
Fort Walton Beach & Okaloosa Island
Okaloosa Island’s beachfront condos and Fort Walton Beach, just west of Destin — often a lower entry price than Destin proper.

The area
Fort Walton Beach offers a relaxed, family-friendly alternative to the busier and more expensive destinations along the Emerald Coast. The area combines beautiful white-sand beaches and clear Gulf water with a casual, approachable atmosphere that feels less commercial than Destin and less exclusive than 30A.
Okaloosa Island is the center of the vacation experience, with beachfront condominiums, the fishing pier, the Gulfarium, waterfront restaurants and The Boardwalk all close together. Visitors come for swimming, boating, fishing, dolphin cruises and easy beach days without needing an elaborate itinerary.
